A few more details.
Who is PrepRail for?
Independent meal-prep kitchens that sell a repeating weekly menu with a set ordering cutoff. You can offer weekly plans, per-meal ordering, scheduled pickup, and delivery. PrepRail isn’t built for on-demand delivery, guest checkout, catering quotes, or POS and inventory costing.
When are customers charged?
Customers save a card and confirm their choices before your weekly cutoff. Their card charges automatically at cutoff for the total they confirmed. Payments go directly through your kitchen’s connected Stripe account.
What happens if a card fails?
The customer gets a link to update their card, and PrepRail retries before your payment deadline. Failed payments appear as exceptions on your Payments page, where you can decide whether to cook an order anyway.
Can I bring my existing customers?
Yes. Import a CSV, review your customer list, and send invitations. Customers keep the plan pricing you set and add their saved card when they accept. You can also capture manual and phone orders in your week workspace.
What if someone doesn’t pick their meals?
Choose a fallback for each customer: skip them for the week or fill their order with your chef’s choice. PrepRail sends reminders before cutoff, and your workspace shows who still needs to respond.
Ready for your next week?
Bring your customers and their existing plan pricing. Connect Stripe, add your meals, and publish your first week with guided setup.
